Your Responsibilities
Position responsibilities
• While sitting at the Reception Desk, this role will greet visitors and staff, answer incoming calls, and communicate messages to appropriate staff.
• Will provide administrative support to SLC Office President to include travel scheduling, expense report submission, calendaring, and general assistance as needed.
• Order office supplies, coordinate related vendors, and maintain professional look and feel of the office. This includes ordering food and cleaning up after company or client related meetings or events.
• Plan and coordinate events as directed.
• Serve as a contact and coordinator for operations (IT, Facilities, HR, Admin, Communications, Events) related tasks in support of the SLC team.
• Make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strive to improve service to the customer.
• Protect the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position.
• Comply with Lockton procedures and policies.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Position qualifications
• High School diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related program preferred.
• Previous reception and/or clerical experience in a corporate environment preferred
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed
• Must have above-average verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
• Demonstrated ability to respond to phone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data entry required
• Must be team focused and open to communication with the team to ensure all business needs are being met.
• Legally able to work in the United States
