Your Responsibilities
SUMMARY:
The Producer Recruiter will work directly with various levels of Lockton Affinity associates to source, build relationships with, screen/assess, and ultimately secure Affinity and MGA Producers. This person will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the knowledge to ask the right questions, listen to the business’s needs, diagnose the issues and then prescribe a plan of action while enjoying the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. Additionally, this person will be responsible for understanding and implementing a Producer Life Cycle program including attracting, recruiting, onboarding, and developing new producers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs).
• Reports directly to the Lockton Affinity COO
• Responsible for providing a candidate experience that aligns with the company culture as an Employer of Choice
• Will be the subject matter expert and strategic partner within the field of recruiting
• Partners closely with the business to ensure that business needs are understood and met
• Partners with the business to coordinate and develop candidate profiles, business plan modeling and assimilation strategies
• Recruiting sales representatives, setting objectives, training and coaching them, and monitoring their performance
• Providing counsel to senior leadership about trends in the marketplace, competitive intelligence, and strategic recommendations for attracting the best candidates
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor degree in business related field, or equivalent education and/or experience required
• 10+ years of recruiting experience with at least 3 years at the executive level
• 2+ years of successful experience recruiting senior level sales executives, preferably in the insurance industry
• Experience sharing specific results and achievements to the C-suite
• Must be results-driven with the ability to change priorities as needed
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation, and to provide solutions to standard and non-standard issues
• Ability to communicate professionally both written and verbal, with the C-suite and to develop strong internal client, and carrier relationships
• Proven ability to multi-task, organize and manage time to meet deadlines
• Power user with internet research to include knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting tools
• Demonstrated understanding of when to proceed alone and when to involve other Associates
• Able to receive and digest feedback and constructive criticism
• Proven ability to manage and overcome adversity
• Values and ethical approach to business and operates with integrity
• Natural curiosity and willingness to grow and learn
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
