Your Responsibilities
Description:
-
Provides technical phone support, problem resolution and on-site technical support to information technology users
-
Evaluates needs, defines technical problems and works with appropriate team to ensure a prompt resolutions
-
Performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and support of moderately complex client/server systems and software
-
Assists end users in operation of computers, peripheral and software applications
-
Work with users and management to coordinate software, hardware, and systems applications to the business.
-
Responsible for handling or coordinating all Information Technology requirements at the desktop
-
Documents incoming requests and routes tickets to appropriate Information Technology Technician when required
-
Assists in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
-
Assists in software troubleshooting, installation, and configuration support
-
Moves, adds, and changes to desktop and network equipment
-
Simple user and account administration
-
Provides consulting and training as needed for IT systems and services
-
Documents incoming requests and handles help desk processes as appropriate
-
Provides hands-on assistance, troubleshooting, and installing PC and network hardware and software components
-
Provides exceptional customer service and adheres to the Lockton Philosophies
-
Supports Information Technology department's vision, mission, goals, and strategies
-
Assists in developing short-term and long-range objectives and strategies
-
Maintains awareness of new system procedures and processes, software capabilities, and other technological advances
-
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience
-
Minimum three years training and experience in computer hardware and software related areas with emphasis on workstations, networking, client/server, problem analysis, and diagnostic techniques
-
Strong project management, time management, initiative, and interpersonal skills required
-
Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
-
Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
-
Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information
-
Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
-
Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
-
Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine
-
Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
-
Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
