Your Responsibilities

• As a member of the Finance team, leverage business intelligence tools and techniques to analyze, interpret, and visualize financial data, empowering Lockton to make informed, data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and other data professionals across departments to develop reports, define business logic, and implement automated processes that streamline data workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
• Build subject matter expertise in Lockton's business data, developing an in-depth understanding of how data is sourced and transformed.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to extract data from relational databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Major in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Insurance, Economics, or other related degree and/or equivalent education or work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a data or analytics-related role.
• Experience building interactive reporting dashboards. MS Power BI is preferred.
• Able to write SQL, R, Python, or other scripting languages. SQL is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
• Familiarity with relational databases, including data lineage, transformations, warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
• Understanding of data integrity and correctness.
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to prioritize workload and meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
