Your Responsibilities
Position responsibilities
• Research new prospects, cold call, and network to generate sales pipeline for Producers
• Manages all Client meeting preparations to analyze, provide strategy input, coordinate, and prepare documents to ensure successful prospect meeting
• Independently manages prospect processes and develops a response with minimal Producer oversight
• Independently manages identified Client Accounts on behalf of Producers with little guidance or oversight
• Maintains excellent Client relationships by attending Client Meetings with or on behalf of Producers or Account Teams
• Resolves Client complaints, disputes, and grievances with internal and external partners
• Participates in negotiations with carriers for new and renewal quotes
• Gathers, analyzes, and interprets Client Risk Management reports, providing consulting to internal leadership, Carrier partners, and Clients
• Evaluates informational and policy needs for various Clients by designing, generating, and interpreting a variety of custom and standard reports and marketing materials using the Enterprise Reporting System
• Interprets and evaluates policy terms to ensure adequate coverage for Client’s identified exposures
• Develops, maintains, and audits new and lost business tracking system, providing readouts and reporting to leadership
• Works in conjunction with the Producer to create the Producer’s annual budget, and independently maintains data, includes reporting and analysis, and recommendations to Producer
• Attends and participates in prospect meetings and may act on behalf of if the Producer is unavailable for the meeting
• May supervise and/or provide cross-training to Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager to enhance understanding and application of processes, projects, and procedures
• Proactively makes alternations to processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency, exemplifying the ability to stray from established procedures
• Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed
Qualifications
Position qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
• Typically, three plus years of Client services experience in a sales environment is required
• Aptitude to work directly with Clients in both a sales and consultative role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
• Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
• Ability to attend industry training sessions as required
• Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed
• Readiness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the insurance industry by successful completion of extended insurance education beyond continuing education requirements as needed
• Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting the confidentiality of Client and company information
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, project team members, and associates at all levels of responsibility, representing Lockton in the highest professional manor
• Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night
• Legally able to work in the United States
