The Singapore ESG team was honored with the Community Impact Award for their outstanding contributions to the Singapore Children’s Society, an organization dedicated to protecting and nurturing children and youth of all backgrounds. The team was humbled by the recognition and received a $25,000 donation from the Lockton family to support the Children’s Society’s mission.

"Our entire team was involved, and it felt rewarding to see the impact we could make together," said XinNi Lim, a member of the Singapore ESG team. "We chose Singapore Children’s Society because their work aligns with our values, and it was a natural fit for our efforts to give back to the community."

Established in 1952, Singapore Children’s Society provides critical support through its 10 service centers island-wide, offering programs for vulnerable children and youth, family services, and advocacy initiatives. In 2023 alone, the organization reached 18,115 children, youth, and families in need.

The Singapore ESG team’s involvement with the Children’s Society began with an internal charity bazaar, where Associates came together to sell home-cooked food, drinks, and desserts. "It was a collective effort that brought us closer as a team and allowed us to contribute to something greater," XinNi explained.

Lockton’s caring culture played a significant role in the team’s ability to make such an impact. "Lockton really encourages us to give back and provides the time and support we need to do so," XinNi shared. "The company’s commitment to our personal growth and community engagement has been instrumental in helping us balance our professional responsibilities while pursuing meaningful philanthropic work."

Winning the Community Impact Award was both surprising and affirming for the team. "It reinforced the importance of giving back and validated the hard work of everyone involved," XinNi said. "This award represents the power of teamwork and our commitment to making a difference in both our workplace and community."

Looking ahead, the Singapore ESG team is eager to deepen their involvement with Singapore Children’s Society. They plan to participate in volunteer programs and collaborate on initiatives that support parents within their community.
