Lockton is the largest privately owner insurance broker in the world. Unencumbered by shareholders, we consistently demonstrate double digit organic growth. Our claims team is made up of over 130 claims specialists across 5 locations.

Due to the team having significantly expanded in size across the past 5 years and following a number of major global client wins we are now seeking a Global Claims Advocate/Executive who will be responsible for managing the claims programmes of a selection of our UK and Global P&C clients.

These clients are likely to include household names in the retail, manufacturing, food & drink, hospitality and logistics sectors.

The successful candidate will be a highly organised, technical and robust claims advocate, reviewing policy coverage and making arguments on their client’s behalf to deliver outstanding claims outcomes.

This role could also involve authoring technical updates, executive summaries, delivering training, undertaking claims audits and generally displaying a full understanding of the industry and regulatory landscape.

Lockton are operating in an agile working environment and the successful candidate will be expected to be in a UK office for at least one day per week, subject to client/external meetings. This role will require travel across the UK, either to client premises or Lockton offices, and may require international travel to meet client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior claims relationship or technical role either in-house at a major corporate entity, a major law firm, a global insurer or broker.

Extensive experience in PDBI, Motor and Casualty experience with an excellent understanding of the legal principles that underpin a wide range of insurance types.

Excellent problem solver and researcher, able to investigate technical issues quickly calling on support from colleagues and formulating appropriate advice to the best interests of your client.

This role will focus on Motor, Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, and Property Damage & Business Interruption claims, you should also have some understanding of other claim types (e.g. Cyber, D&O, PI, PAT, Marine Cargo) and how these should be handled to drive excellent outcomes.

·Able to quickly build an understanding of a client’s business issues, insurance needs and expectations.

Comfortable in advocating on behalf of your clients on large, complex claims or summarising performance and trends across a large volume of claims, both in writing and presenting in person to senior client stakeholders.

The ability to prepare and interpret claims experiences and analysis including claims triangulations and the impact that deductibles and cover variations will have.

Excellent ambassador, having the personal presence to interface with the management of clients, colleagues, insurers and other third party providers, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner both at client, carrier and supplier premises and at industry events.

A high-level understanding of claims handling in the London Market and experience in handling Global risks would be advantageous.

Graham Turville-Ince's commitment to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) is more than a passion - it's a mission to create meaningful change. His dedication began at CPA's Randwick Race Day, where he met a 6-year-old girl whose life was transformed by early intervention programs. "Her progress was remarkable, and seeing her parents' strength, especially with a second child also affected by cerebral palsy, left a lasting impression," Graham shared. This experience fueled his ongoing involvement. From volunteering at CPA's headquarters in Sydney to raising over $6,000 through the STEPtember challenge, where he took over one million steps to support the cause, Graham continues to raise funds and awareness for CPA. He also works to inspire others, whether colleagues or clients, to join in advocating for CPA's mission. Graham's efforts were recently recognised with Lockton's prestigious Community Impact Award. Funded by the Lockton family, this honour celebrates Associates making a difference in their communities through volunteering and philanthropy. The award includes a USD 25,000 donation for the recipient's charity of choice, which Graham directed to CPA. "Presenting that cheque, knowing the impact it will make, was an unforgettable moment," he said. "I felt genuinely humbled. It's incredible to be recognised alongside many passionate and impactful colleagues." The donation will go to providing vital therapy, respite services and a number of other programs for people living with cerebral palsy and their families. Lockton's caring culture played a critical role in Graham's ability to support CPA, allowing him to lead by example at work and in the community. "Lockton doesn't just support my passion- it enables it," he reflected. "From hands-on charity days to backing vetted causes, the encouragement from my team is invaluable." Looking ahead, Graham is determined to expand his advocacy efforts for CPA. He's working on transitioning fundraising events from his previous involvement with Oxfam to CPA and aims to inspire his professional network to support this vital cause. Graham remains focused on expanding CPA's impact, inspiring action within his networks, and driving lasting change. Josh Arnold, a former Marine Corps Section Leader, has been awarded Lockton’s Global Community Impact Award after being recognized as a regional winner last year. The award was presented to him for his dedicated work with Camo to College, a nonprofit he founded in 2021 to help veterans transition back into civilian life. Josh describes it as a “transition to society brokerage,” acting as an advocate for veterans as they navigate the complexities of post-military life—whether it’s pursuing education, vocational training, or a new career path. Winning the award for the second consecutive year was a surprise for Josh, who didn’t expect his growing nonprofit to receive such recognition so soon. 'It’s amazing to know that people believe in our mission and recognize the work that has gone into getting us to where we are now,' he says. In addition to the award, Josh was astonished to receive a generous $100,000 donation to Camo to College from the Lockton family - the largest donation given since the launch of the Community Impact Award. “The support and dedication to philanthropic efforts at Lockton is unmatched. Having the President of our company as one of our first donors, receiving such a substantial contribution from the Lockton family, and the incredible support of my coworkers has been overwhelming!” Josh’s leadership style is rooted in problem-solving and a deep sense of responsibility to his fellow veterans. “When I see an issue, I trace it back to the root and put a plan together to fix it. Camo to College started because I saw too many veterans struggling after their service, and too many of my brothers taking their own lives. Veteran suicide is a huge issue, but instead of just addressing the symptoms, I wanted to go back to where it all began: the transition to civilian life. That’s where we can make the biggest difference.” Josh’s belief in Lockton’s business model paved the way for how he structured his nonprofit. “I don’t think there is a Camo to College without Lockton. The idea isn’t some visionary plan, but the simplicity of it works. Now, years later, her work with YEP has earned her the prestigious Global Community Impact Award, a recognition that highlights her dedication to empowering others facing similar challenges. As part of this recognition, the Lockton family has donated $50,000 to Your Ethiopian Professionals Network. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without YEP,” Sinafik said. “To now receive this award for something that has been so pivotal in my own life is incredibly humbling. For 14 years, we’ve pushed forward with limited resources. This recognition allows us to make an even bigger impact.” YEP was born out of the need to inspire, educate, and empower the Ethiopian professional community. For Sinafik, it has served as a vital resource, offering professional opportunities and a network of individuals who understand the unique challenges of building a career in a new environment. “As an immigrant, YEP provided me with a sense of belonging and a platform to grow in ways I never anticipated,” she explained. “I want to ensure that this platform continues to be available for others who are seeking to grow, connect, and make meaningful contributions.” Looking ahead, Sinafik is focused on empowering the next generation of leaders. “We have a talented community, and I want to focus on growing that leadership,” she said. “I’m honored by this award, but it’s YEP’s success that matters most.” Lockton has played a significant role in her journey, providing more than just a professional platform. “At Lockton, I’ve found a family. Most of my relatives are far away, but my Associates have become my support system,” she said. “Lockton encourages us to pursue our passions outside of work.
