Your Responsibilities
- Work with existing inbound leads and opportunities generated through Lockton’s internal network
- Build, manage, and progress a healthy pipeline of Trade Credit opportunities
- Act as a key point of contact for prospective clients, managing day-to-day communication and guiding them through the early stages of the sales process
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, trade exposures, and commercial needs
- Partner closely with Account Executives and Policy Managers who will support you with technical expertise and client servicing
- Support meetings, presentations, and proposal activity alongside senior colleagues
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and opportunity tracking
- Gradually build technical knowledge of Trade Credit insurance, insurer appetite, and market dynamics through structured training and on-the-job learning

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a sales, business development, account management, or client-facing commercial role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, organised, and persistent approach to managing leads and pipelines
- Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders on a daily basis
- A genuine interest in developing a career within insurance (previous insurance experience is not essential)
- Commercially curious with a willingness to learn technical concepts over time
