Your Responsibilities
This is a varied managerial role leading a Binding Authority focused team. Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following:
- Support Head of Client Services and aligned business unit
- Provide assistance with team initiatives, projects, goal settings and performance reviews
- Multi-disciplined technical leadership role, across all business classes and risk types, incorporating Premium, Pro rata, Excess of loss claims and Client Accounting
- Deliver an efficient, effective, accurate and speedy service to all customers, internal and external
- Ensure transparency in all tasks in the provision of a responsive and professional transactional customer service model
- Oversight for the Binding Authority Client Services team, day to day monitoring and reporting, holidays and sickness records, workloads including guidance and support to team members
- Creation and monitoring of service standards. Trending analysis to ensure issues are addressed at the earliest possible stage. Evaluation of the appropriateness of service standards in an ever-changing environment
- Contribute towards resolutions within all tasks across the team, providing appropriate leadership and operational support in accordance with the agreed Lockton Re procedures
- Maintain effective working relationships with all Associates to ensure the best possible environment for client service
- Work to ensure all activities undertaken on behalf of Lockton Re are compliant with internal standards and procedures and our regulatory obligations. Monitoring and resolution to issues and queries is essential.
- Ensure proficiency with all IT systems, specifically OpenTWINS as the core servicing platform
- Build partnership service relationships with defined clients, business units and regions
- Develop team knowledge of all aspects of the current and future deliverables
- Implement clear instructions, controls and procedures continually reviewing to improve process
Qualifications
Successful applicants will ideally have prior relevant reinsurance experience in a Client Services position aligned to binding authorities and be able to evidence experience in the following role requirements:
- Demonstrate an understanding of management concepts, systems, and quality assurance.
- Ability to develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure the performance of Associates necessary for excellence in client delivery and satisfaction
- Professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
- Demonstrate ability to instil confidence with clients so that the client looks to you and to Lockton Re as more than just a reinsurance broker, but as a partner in business.
- Ability to compile, analyse and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making.
