Your Responsibilities
1. Strategy & P&L
• Responsible for single unit service team in a series geography, industry, or product segment.
• Collaborates with the Director, producers, and other leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive short- and long-term strategy for the business group.
• Supports Director in development of an annual business plan as part of the budget process and is accountable for achieving expected outcome for assigned unit.
• Drives a team that focuses on deep client relationships, where our intimate understanding of business needs creates a partnership with clients that makes their businesses better.
2. People & Culture
• Drives recruiting for key unit positions – Team Leads, Account Execs, Account Managers, and Account Analysts.
• Responsible for talent development and career pathing of all associates within unit. Supports Series Training & Development efforts by providing daily mentorship and hands-on training where needed.
• Maintains monthly one on one meetings with all associates within unit.
• Embraces southeast series values. Consistently aligns organization to values to ensure culture flourishes.
3.Operations & Technology
• Drives adherence to established process and procedure within unit. Using available control reporting as a diagnostic for evaluating, attacking at the root of lack of adherence and close the gap.
• Has strong management system for leaning in and understanding daily unit workflow, challenges, and roadblocks to be removed. Ensures ongoing operational efficiency.
• Suggests opportunities for process improvement based on consistent adherence to process walking associates within unit.
• Primary engagement point for service teamwork assignments. Effectively manages workloads to balance capacity and align key clients with needed expertise within unit.
4.Clients & Prospects
• Handles ~30% of traditional Account Executive client workload.
• Engages in non-AE assigned client meetings in leadership support capacity.
• Helps producers close largest and most complex deals with prospective clients.
• Assists producers and Directors in client retention efforts. Manages the at-risk process for unit.
5.Insurance Markets and Vendor Partnerships
• Maintain local and region leader relationship in the marketplace with our top trading and wholesale partners.
• Effectively escalates transaction support needs to carrier and wholesale leaders, to effect positive outcomes for clients. Keeps Director apprised of all market escalations.
• Manages MAP partnerships in collaboration with Director.
Qualifications
Qualification - Generally has 10+ years of industry experience and at least 3 years of leadership experience (5+ preferred).
