Your Responsibilities
As the Early Career Program Manager at Lockton, you will develop and execute innovative student & early career recruitment programs for the organization at a high level. One of the most important responsibilities will be to ensure that consistent, high-quality recruiting and marketing practices are designed. This role will strategize by creating, developing, and executing programs and ambassador training to be used nationally and through a DEI lens. The development of deep academic partnerships will also be a key responsibility.
- Develop Long-Term Talent Acquisition Strategies: Design and implement long-term strategies to attract and retain top talent, aligning with the company's overall business goals and growth plans.
- Analyze Market Trends: Conduct market research and analyze trends in the talent acquisition space to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting early career talent.
- Enhance Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance the company's employer brand, making it a top choice for early career professionals.
- Implement Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions to improve the recruitment process.
- Foster Innovation in Recruitment: Identify and implement innovative recruitment practices and technologies to streamline the hiring process and improve candidate experience.
- Develop Succession Planning Programs: Create and manage succession planning programs to ensure a pipeline of future leaders within the organization.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry organizations, professional associations, and other key stakeholders to enhance recruitment efforts, such as Gamma Iota Sigma, NAAIA, and others.
- Diversity and Inclusion Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy that aligns with the company's values and business objectives.
- Leadership Development: Design and execute leadership development programs for early career professionals to prepare them for future leadership roles within the company.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budget for early career recruitment programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
- 7 plus years of experience in talent acquisition.
- 5 plus years developing and executing new college recruiting programs.
- Corporate recruiting background preferred.
- Knowledge of job posting sites and media channels.
- Ability to work with multiple groups, including remote teams, and build strong personal networks across a complex, fast-moving organization.
- Experience in recruiting and branding to college students; use of innovative marketing approaches to maximize an employer’s campus presence and reputation.
- Experience in college sourcing and recruiting, outreach program development or HR with people management skills, mentoring and influencing various recruiting parties.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and superior analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills to track and report recruiting outcomes.
- Ability and comfort with presenting in front of small to large audiences.
- Proficiency in application and operation of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
- Travel will be required up to 50% during peak recruiting seasons.
