Your Responsibilities
Description:
- Collects data and analyzes client information
- Works collaboratively with managers and other teammates to collect and clean data, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely, and of high quality
- Audits data results and reports findings to supervisors
- Prepares standard and ad hoc reports
- Analyzes client data in conjunction with other consultants to recommend safety and claims management opportunities
- Integrates data from multiple data sets into relevant systems for report publication
- Follows policies, procedures, and/or reports that make the overall practice more efficient and effective
- Effectively communicates with internal and external clients, including leading meetings and explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Training end users on new reports and dashboards
- Transforms data from various sources into actionable strategies that align with client specific goals.
- Partners with clients to consult on data analytics uses cases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine internal data processes, expand enterprise analysis methods and visualizations to facilitate data-driven strategic decision-making.
- Explore aggregated datasets to uncover and support research and development efforts in industry-level trends and insights.
- Ability to train other analysts and provide on-going technical support for product solutions.
- Customize analytic solutions to align with unique client needs, managing significant aspects of projects with varying complexity.
- Actively engage in working group to expand predictive modeling capabilities.
- Act as a project manager or technical consultant, guiding project design and execution.
- Foster engagement within the analytics community, contributing to cross-functional teams and initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Major in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or Finance
- Advanced MS Excel experience is required.
- Intermediate + Microsoft PowerBI experience is required
- DAX (Power BI coding language) familiarity (preferred)
- Power automate familiarity (preferred)
- Insurance claims experience (preferred)
- Understands data sources, processes, formulas and output
- Ability to understand data integrity and correctness
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively present information to Associates at all levels of the Lockton organization
- Internally motivated and self-starter
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
- Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
- Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, and photocopier
- Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
- Legally able to work in the United States

For 17 years, Lauren Dunham has been a force for connection and change at Lockton. She first discovered commercial insurance at a career fair, not knowing what to expect. “Most people think of Jake from State Farm—but what we do is so much more,” she says. “We help clients drive real change in their businesses, and that has a ripple effect.” Lauren’s impact at Lockton was immediate. She quickly rose from Associate Account Manager to her current role as Senior Vice President, Director of Client Engagement. Alongside her professional growth, Lauren’s personal journey of service began with her involvement in Women in Leadership (now Women in Lockton)—a group dedicated to driving business success while fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone, especially women, can thrive. It was through this group that she formed a close friendship with Lisa Wall, who would later open the door to a new chapter of impact. When Lisa asked if she’d consider stepping into her role with Women United, Lauren didn’t hesitate. “I jumped at the opportunity,” she recalls. “Women United focuses on early childhood development—something that holds a special place in my heart.” Her passion for education and early childhood development runs deep. Her mother, a longtime elementary school teacher, exposed her early to the challenges many children face—hunger, instability, and lack of support. “I remember going to work with her and seeing the impact she tried to make. That stuck with me.” Now as a mother herself, Lauren understands how critical the first five years are in shaping a child’s future. “Unfortunately, there’s just no consistent infrastructure in our city to support children in those early years.” Now a board member of Women United, Lauren helps lead fundraising and volunteer efforts that directly support early childhood nonprofits. From wrapping gifts for young mothers in shelters to raising over $100,000 through events like Purses for Promise, the work is hands-on, heartfelt, and deeply fulfilling. “It’s about connecting women who want to make a difference and giving them the tools to do it.” Lockton’s support of Lauren has been unwavering. “We get two full days to volunteer, and Lockton matches donations. It’s part of our DNA—clients, community, Associates. That’s how we operate.” She recalls moments like a 2010 tornado, where the company’s culture of care was on full display. “It’s always been part of the experience here. From the top down, people understand the importance of giving back.” When asked why she’s stayed at Lockton for nearly two decades, Lauren’s answer is simple: “The people.”
“You can love the technical side of your job, but if you don’t enjoy the people you work with, it won’t matter. At Lockton, the people are what make it special. You feel it in every interaction.” For Lauren, Women United and Lockton are two sides of the same coin—places where passion meets purpose, and where people come together to make a difference. “Lockton is great. Women United is great. I’m fortunate I get to support both.”
