Your Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Lockton is seeking an experienced, dynamic Benefits and Billing Coordinator to play a critical role supporting an innovative, high growth healthcare client. This is a unique, embedded opportunity where you will have true ownership of benefits billing and invoice reconciliation, directly impacting accuracy, efficiency, and client success.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, is data-oriented, and takes pride in creating clean, reliable processes. You will leverage your hands-on Workday experience and advanced Excel skills to audit data, correct discrepancies, and partner closely with HR and benefits leaders to achieve success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage high volume billing across multiple vendors
• Review and prepare invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing data
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment
• Resolve billing issues, such as discrepancies or inconsistencies
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation
• Support the client in Workday functions to include eligibility changes, corrections, and audits as a result from billing reviews
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing information
• Maintain onsite presence at client to provide ongoing benefits support; communicate with Lockton management as needed
• Provide general administrative support as needed
• Attend internal meetings/education programs
Compensation and Benefits
Lockton Companies LLC is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits and complies with all relevant state/local pay transparency laws. The entry base salary offered for this opportunity may vary, and is contingent upon candidate education, skills, abilities, essential competencies, experience, professional designations, unique qualifications, and geographic location.
Performance Bonus: This role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus, based upon the financial performance of the organization and the individual contributions of the Associate.

Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree and 2–5 years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, and/or carrier billing and invoice reconciliation for complex benefit programs
• Workday experience preferred
• Comfort navigating eligibility, enrollment, and benefits-related data in a highly administrative, audit-focused role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proactive and solutions-oriented when resolving discrepancies
• Strong communicator who can collaborate with external and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
