Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to design, operate, automate, and continuously improve our Azure Cloud Platform. This role is responsible for maintaining the enterprise Azure landing zone, shared services, cloud governance controls, and automation capabilities that enable secure, scalable, and reliable cloud services across the organization. The Senior Cloud Engineer serves as a key technical leader and Level-3 escalation point, partnering with regional teams to drive standardization, operational excellence, and cloud adoption globally.
Key Responsibilities
Build, operate, and maintain Azure landing zone infrastructure, including networking, firewalls, shared compute, backup, patching, and platform reliability.
Manage shared services including identity, connectivity, monitoring, logging, security, and automation platforms.
Own Azure subscription provisioning, lifecycle management, and enforcement of enterprise baseline configurations and governance controls.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation solutions to enable scalable cloud operations.
Provide cloud onboarding, DevOps enablement, and self-service capabilities for application and regional teams.
Serve as the Level-3 technical escalation point for Azure platform, infrastructure, and landing-zone issues.
Lead troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with regional cloud teams to ensure consistent implementation of standards, governance, security controls, and operational processes worldwide.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of Azure cloud engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zones, networking, security, governance, and cloud operations.
Strong expertise with Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience supporting highly available, globally distributed cloud platforms.
Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
HashiCorp Terraform Associate
