Your Responsibilities
The Digital Health Consultant serves as a strategic advisor to digital health vendors, point solution providers, and healthcare innovators seeking to strengthen their value proposition, market positioning, consultant engagement strategy, and employer market adoption. This role partners closely with Lockton's Precision Health and Partner Intelligence teams to provide market insights, consulting support, and actionable recommendations that help organizations develop and deliver clinically credible, commercially compelling solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of employer benefits, healthcare consulting, population health, and digital health innovation. They are skilled at translating employer needs, consultant perspectives, market trends, and competitive intelligence into practical strategies that drive growth, differentiation, and measurable value for vendor partners. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to vendor leadership teams while helping strengthen Lockton's overall market intelligence and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Consulting & Advisory
- Serve as a strategic advisor to digital health vendors, point solutions, and healthcare technology organizations.
- Consult with vendor leaders on employer market trends, consultant expectations, and benefit strategy priorities.
- Provide guidance on solution positioning, value proposition development, and competitive differentiation.
- Deliver market intelligence and insights to help partners refine growth and commercialization strategies.
- Conduct assessments of product offerings, service models, and employer value drivers.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions with vendor stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Support vendor readiness for employer and consultant engagement.
- Translate complex healthcare, clinical, and market dynamics into clear and practical recommendations for executive decision makers.
Digital Health Strategy
- Advise partners on emerging trends in digital health, navigation, advocacy, chronic condition management, behavioral health, musculoskeletal care, cancer support, women's health, and other point solution categories.
- Evaluate market opportunities and help identify ideal client profiles and target market segments.
- Assist vendors in aligning clinical value, member experience, engagement outcomes, and business objectives.
- Support development of employer-ready and consultant-ready solution strategies.
- Help vendors translate complex healthcare solutions into clear and compelling market messages.
Consultant & Employer Market Engagement
- Provide insights into employer benefits, purchasing trends, and healthcare market dynamics.
- Help vendors understand consultant evaluation criteria and employer decision-making processes.
- Support client-facing presentations, consulting engagements, and strategic discussions.
- Collaborate with employer consulting teams to gather marketplace feedback and intelligence.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen vendor-consultant relationships and market adoption.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market assessments, competitive benchmarking, and industry scans.
- Analyze healthcare market trends, consultant feedback, and employer priorities.
- Develop recommendations based on market opportunities, competitive positioning, and client needs.
- Leverage data, analytics, and industry insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify emerging opportunities within the digital health ecosystem.
Thought Leadership & Collaboration
- Contribute to research, presentations, articles, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Represent Lockton in meetings, conferences, webinars, and industry events.
- Collaborate with internal consulting, clinical, analytics, and business development teams.
- Support the continued growth and evolution of Lockton's Partner Intelligence and vendor consulting capabilities.
- Share market intelligence and vendor insights across the organization.
- Evaluate emerging healthcare solutions, digital health platforms, and market innovations to determine strategic fit and growth opportunities.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, employer benefits, digital health, population health, vendor management, or healthcare strategy.
- Strong understanding of employer-sponsored healthcare, point solutions, and digital health vendors.
- Experience supporting client strategy, vendor consulting, consultant engagement, or healthcare innovation initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare market trends, population health management, care navigation, and benefit strategies.
- Strong consulting, facilitation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to synthesize market intelligence and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience collaborating across commercial, clinical, operational, and product teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
