As a part of its continued growth, Lockton Re have developed a Capital Markets business and is looking to fill this newly-created Insurance Linked Securities Business Analyst role with a candidate with strong stakeholder management skills and ideally some experience in the analysis of complex financial data.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In the role you will be involved in the day-to-day cat bond structuring and distribution process for Lockton Re Capital Markets (LRCM). At a high level, this will include working on the following tasks:
- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and marketing materials
- Assist with the arrangements of investor meeting and roadshows (where required)
- Assist with placement activities including the solicitation of potential investors in the EEA, including the distribution of preliminary offering material including draft offering circular and investor presentations
- Assist with RTO activities including:
- Liaise with EEA investors during settlement process of bonds to ensure that all details are obtained and up to date
- Transmission of the final offering documents to investors and confirming respective orders at the final size and pricing
- Update of general marketing material, including market updates
- Maintain details of all relevant ILS transactions in the general market
- Assist the global team with structuring options for LRCM clients
Qualifications

- Good academic background, with strong Leaving Certificate/A levels or degree gradings
- Proven track record of effective stakeholder management
- Ability to review and understand Financial Management Information
- Demonstrate ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience of working in a high-paced, deadline driven environment
- Exposure to/experience of structured finance/investment banking and other financial services roles
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
