We are now seeking individuals who will thrive in this type of atmosphere and, with the continued growth of our International Facultative practice, have created this new Account Executive role to support the existing team.
Role Responsibilities:
In this varied role, working with both internal and external stakeholders, you will be supporting the entire broking cycle. Below are some examples of the tasks the role will include:
Account Executive
- Slip & Endorsement Production using OpenTwins
- Handing over Processing via Salesforce
- Liaise internally with key departments:
- Aligned – for risks handed over to the team and checking processing is correct, helping with any claims correspondence
- Finance – stepping in to help chase Clients and/or extend payment terms if necessary
- Ops – attending monthly/quarterly meetings regarding any procedure changes and divisional updates, monitoring contract certainty reports, setting up new Insureds
- Invoicing & Evidence of Covers – sending to Clients
- E-Re platform – submitting firm order risks and monitoring monthly statements
- Monitoring Subjectivities and diary-ing accordingly
- Use of the team’s ‘Master Bible’ of data and keeping updated
- Wordings/Clauses knowledge
Broker Support
- Participate in Client & Market meetings where required
- Using and accessing Ki Platform
- PPL for submitting Slips & Endorsements to Markets
- Involvement in the key, big accounts for the team
- Marketing of less complex individual risks as part of our portfolio
- Completing Marketing Sheets
Qualifications
Due to the nature and level of this position, we are open to the exact experience that we bring into the role however prior experience in a relevant insurance position will be advantageous. In addition, the following will help the successful candidate succeed in this position:
- Experience in a relevant (re)insurance position or other similar financial or professional services firms
- Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, Insurers and Associates
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates
- Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve unusual and complex issues and then devise actionable solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applications
- High attention to detail
