- You will build and work a business plan, including market strategies and financial targets
- You will acquire and develop new business by gaining access to decision-makers, making highly impactful presentations, and closing the deal
- You will strive to understand the client’s business and how Lockton provides customer value through service and solutions
- You will lead client relationships and oversee service delivery throughout the life of Lockton’s relationship with clients
- You will work closely with account teams to ensure clients are receiving the best advice and coverage based on business objectives and company goals
- You will build and maintain current knowledge of relative property and casualty, employee benefits, and other insurance products and services through networking and participating in professional development activities

- Proven excellence in a B2B sales role, preferably in an industry with a long sales cycle
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written
- Excellent relationship building and management skills
- Strategic, client-first mindset
- Competitive differentiation and drive to be successful in life and business
- Desire to develop personally and professionally
- Accountable, diplomatic, tactic and honest
- Maintain a high level of business acumen and insurance industry professionalism
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours and travel as needed to effectively service client and/or business needs
