Your Responsibilities
The Learning Immersion Track Learning Consultant is primarily an internal-facing role and is responsible for developing learning experiences while providing support with learning/instructional design. This role requires experience with reviewing curriculum maps and guides, developing lesson plans, and creating learning content that engages learners in person, virtually, and on-demand. The individual in this position will have an attitude of customer service and an ability to communicate in a constructive, collaborative way with team members, associates, vendors, and co-workers at all levels. Interpersonal skills, creative thinking, data analysis, organization, project and time management, attention to detail, and experience with learning tools are imperative.
Position Responsibilities for the Learning Immersion Track (LIT) Learning Consultant
- Learning Immersion Track Development
- Manage course development by updating and/or building learning content while confirming learning standards are being addressed
- Design and develop courses and Learning Immersion Tracks using adult learning theories and inclusive learning design; identify where learner engagement activities and strategies are most appropriate within coursework
- Create capstone experiences and develop scoring rubrics while partnering with a subject matter expert
- Develop Facilitator Guides for each course within a Learning Immersion Track
- Confirm learning objectives align with business objectives and comply with industry regulations and best practices.
- Aid in the improvement of learning content and delivery methods based on learner feedback and industry trends
- Support in the development of credentials for assigned Learning Immersion Tracks
- Aid team members in learning and development literacy; support team members in curriculum mapping
- Utilize templates for all LIT documents while adhering to all Marketing, Communication, & Branding guidelines
- Solicit subject matter expertise, when necessary, from internal Lockton resources and service teams and clients when necessary to meet objectives
- Manage centralized repository of technical knowledge resources, including documentation, reference materials, and online resources
- Collaborate with the PMO to refine processes and procedures for building Learning Immersion Tracks
- Project Management
- Provide / support project management to operationalize new and updated content and tools to be available throughout the project.
- Create and manage project files including requesting, gathering, reviewing and organizing applicable documentation.
- Monitor all target timelines, actions items and deliverables through an assigned project are successfully met and completed; forecast potential barriers
- Delivery
- Assist with the development of presentations to represent Lockton’s Talent Development program
- Support communication needs as identified
- Analysis & Evaluation
- Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to support the identification of knowledge and skill gaps across the organization.
- Monitor and support the evaluation of program effectiveness through assessment, survey, and feedback mechanism
- Gather and analyze data to identify learning trends and make recommendations
- Review authoring tools for developing courses and learning experiences; provide recommendations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required (e.g., teaching, curriculum and instruction, instructional design) or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in developing and teaching lesson plans and/or creating and facilitating learning and development
- Ability to absorb technical content and package it in a constructive and educational way
- Proven ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in developing and delivering technical training programs using various delivery methods
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Microsoft CoPilot is helpful
- Ability to interact effectively to accomplish goals with amiable solutions
