Your Responsibilities
Lockton Dunning Benefits is seeking an Account Manager responsible for possessing and applying knowledge of industry trends and related regulations while servicing clients’ accounts in an innovative and efficient manner. This position will also develop and maintain favorable internal and external relationships, with the end goal of providing the highest level of customer service by meeting or exceeding industry standards.
Responsibilities
• Supports the operations of a designated book of business as it relates to marketing, claims and administration
• Responds to Client’s inquiries and maintains documentation of Client communications, existing issues, and issue resolutions
• Supports implementation or transition of new/existing lines of coverage by setting up account, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with team lead
• Gathers and compiles client’s information for possible high claimant discrepancies
• Requests and collects quotes (new and renewal) from carriers as instructed
• Responsible for gathering and processing request for proposals (RFP’s) and any other client reports
• Collects quotes, amendments and reinstatements for requested changes as needed
• Monitors Client data warehouse (BenefitPoint) to ensure data integrity and proactively identifies any inconsistencies
• Assesses and interprets claims experience for monthly client reports
• Maintains materials for Client presentations for OE and strategy meetings by utilizing established templates and partnering with our internal marketing team
• Coordinates with carrier and clients on the distribution of compliance communications as needed
• Audits annual commission levels and annual commission reports for accuracy and provides feedback to Team Lead
• Researches government compliance/regulations to create educational materials
• Ability to perform all Senior Benefit Analyst job responsibilities, duties and expectations
• Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed
Qualifications
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business related field and/or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum 2 years of employee benefits experience in insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
• Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
• Ability to protect confidential Client and company information
