Given our business growth and increased focus to align the Pharmacy Practice under common national leadership structure, we are seeking a strong operator with a strategic mindset and tactical delivery execution for the VP, Director Pharmacy Operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in working closely with the National Pharmacy Practice Leader, Pharmacy Growth Leader, Consulting Directors, Analytics and Compliance functions to provide strategic leadership to Pharmacy initiatives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall Pharmacy operations function – including overseeing analytics, and back-office operations (project management) that contribute to the Pharmacy client delivery.
- Originate new solutions for process management and data operations to create efficiencies within the Pharmacy practice.
- Create training and development plans and competency models to assist in the development of Associates.
- Recruit, manage and develop new Associates to ensure the highest quality talent and expertise is provided.
- Accountable for review of the pricing model for Pharmacy SOWs to ensure cost to deliver services is being met.
- Ensure consistent operational delivery model.
- Collaborate with all Pharmacy Consulting Directors to continue to improve delivery to the consulting teams.
- Organize culturally additive events to roll-out structural changes, align leadership teams and cultivate strong communication across the practice.
- Influence the Pharmacy practice culture through fostering an environment of positivity, empowerment, trust, collaboration and communication.
- Communicate regularly with Specialty Practice leadership and Regional leaders on status of key deliverables for Pharmacy initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of the nuances of the pharmacy benefits marketplace.
- Entrepreneurial spirit in a fast-paced environment with the ability to build and execute projects.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy data and how to use the data to empower the consulting teams with their customers.
- Able to leverage analytics beyond the data to provide actionable information, clear conclusions, and recommendations for the business.
- Impressive executive demeanor, team orientation and collaborative approach including strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- A self-starter with a propensity towards action.
- Proven track record for managing multiple competing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
