Your Responsibilities
Position responsibilities
• Provide sales support, including interaction with and assisting clients via telephone or in-person.
• Arrange complex travel and maintain records, itineraries, and travel credits.
• Conducts research on behalf of the executive and initiates processes to manage projects.
• Prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents ensuring proper format, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Answer incoming calls, screen calls, answer questions, refer callers to appropriate associates, or take messages.
• Manage and maintain calendars. Schedule and arrange internal and external meetings, appointments, and special events. Arrange for meeting rooms, food/beverages, lunch reservations, etc., as necessary.
• Monitor and manage email as requested.
• Responsible for all-expense report-related activities, such as receipt collection and follow-up, preparation and submission of expense reports, and corporate credit card billing reconciliation.
• Uses discretion and independent judgment in facilitating the executive’s activities and maintaining confidentiality.
• Coordinate and manage special events as requested.
• Update Associate Directory and client/prospect database.
• Attend meetings as requested, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute meeting materials as required.
• Attend staff meetings, department meetings, education workshops, and social functions as requested.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Position qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent education and/or experience required
• A minimum of five year’s administrative support experience preferred
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Strong attention to detail required
• Strong internal and external customer service skills, along with the ability to develop good relationships
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet time-sensitive deadlines required. Must be able to work under pressure and time constraints. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed
• Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, project team members, and associates at all levels of responsibility, representing Lockton in the highest professional manor
• Must have the ability to work independently, along with a strong ability to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and urgency
• Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night
• Legally able to work in the United States
This position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.
