Your Responsibilities
The RFP Project Manager role is focused on facilitating the RFP process for our People Solutions and Risk Solutions Practices from start to finish. The RFP Project Manager is responsible for working with and organizing communications between the Producer and the UM/Account Team involved in the RFP and ensuring our proposals, sales decks and presentations represent the utmost quality to help win more business. The RFP Project Manager is expected to work in collaboration with the Proposal Writer to maintain an accurate and consistent database of RFP responses.
Responsibilities
- Work with Producers, PRGs, Unit Managers and Account teams to create professional RFP deliverables and enhance the win rate of assigned projects
- Load RFPs into Loopio and manage assigned RFP projects
- Conduct and assist with designated kick-off calls to initiate new projects
- Utilize Loopio “Magic” to create suitable draft responses
- Provide feedback and recommendations to Manager to establish best-in-class user experience strategy
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively to both cross-functional partners and executives
- Assist with training for RFP users
- Work with Proposal Writer to support creative content upload, review cycles, timelines, and design
- Work with Proposal Designer for efficient collaboration and appropriate support of design process
- Create and maintain content for RFPs and other deliverables for access in Loopio and other designated internal tools by working with SMEs, monitoring Workplace, and collaborating with other team Associates
- Coordinate with SMEs for RFP specific content
- Support the integration of Loopio and other Lockton resources where appropriate
- Assist with meeting overall team objectives to identify and enhance service workflows that can be streamlined and/or improved.
- Create and track proposal progress/manage deadlines to ensure timely revisions and submissions.
- Manage and provide training and feedback to other team members to enhance efficiency and professionalism of Unit and provide consistency across projects.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of insurance industry (benefits and/or property/casualty) required – generally obtained with at least 7 years experience
- Emphasis on either employee benefits or property and casualty lines of business
- Knowledge of successful win strategies and proposal management protocols
- Proven understanding of RFPs and how to create sophisticated and detailed responses.
- Creative, detail-oriented, well-organized with the ability to learn, follow instructions, manage projects, prioritize and self-manage daily workload.
- Advanced technical skills in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Outstanding communications skills:
- Facilitating and leading meetings and training in person and virtually
- Writing professional, accurate, and grammatically correct content for RFPs and presentations
- Proofreading
- Collaborating and consulting with team members and other Associates to enhance favorable outcomes for each project
- Maintaining tight timelines and effectively encouraging adherence with others
- APMP certification preferred
