Your Responsibilities
The Executive Business Administrator will provide administrative support to various Sales Producers and Unit Managers. This role is currently hybrid with remote and in-office days.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Composes and prepares a variety of correspondence, reports, and internal documents in support of producer new business development activities.
- Conduct research of prospective companies and prepare executive prospect summaries.
- Perform data entry of contacts/prospects and perform mail merges for marketing mailings.
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure information was received.
- Independently coordinates the production of responses to requests for proposals (RFP’s) using internal and external resources.
- Receives, reads, and is proactive in handling daily mail and email as directed by individual producers and unit managers; initiates action on items requiring immediate attention.
- Meets with producers and unit managers as needed to provide update on current work assignments.
- Manages the new business production reports for select producers.
- Maintains files of correspondence and other records.
- Answers telephone, answers questions, or refers calls to appropriate department or individual.
- Plans conferences and meetings.
- Makes travel arrangements and various business appointments for assigned producers.
- Keeps calendar of appointments and suspense systems for producers as requested.
- Process expense reports using knowledge of client/prospect activity and ensure timely reimbursement to the Producers and Unit Managers.
- Protects the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- May perform public relations work for producers and unit managers, including coordinating special events, luncheons, and seminars.
- Coordinates the purchase and distribution of holiday gifts for clients and greeting card mailings.
- May attend client/prospect meetings or social events with Producers and Unit Managers to assist as requested.
- Provide technical writing support for blog updates, various social media, and online sites in support of Producer activity.
- May be some minimal personal assistance for producers when requested.
Compensation and Benefits
Lockton Companies LLC is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits and complies with all relevant state/local pay transparency laws. The entry base salary offered for this opportunity may vary, and is contingent upon candidate education, skills, abilities, essential competencies, experience, professional designations, unique qualifications, and geographic location.
Performance Bonus: This role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus, based upon the financial performance of the organization and the individual contributions of the Associate.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, general business, or equivalent education/experience preferred.
- Five to seven years professional experience performing executive-level sales support or similar administrative experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Advanced skills with email and calendar systems such as Outlook.
- Experience with internet, including knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media for the purposes of professional networking.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines.
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize busy workload to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Firm, fluent grasp of the English language with high-level verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to instill confidence and comfort with co-workers.
- Ability to make decisions in compliance with established company standards of quality performance and service.
- Appropriately assertive personal presence to interface with clients, associates and other individuals, in both one-on-one and group situations; represent Lockton in the highest professional manner.
- Strong value of service to others.
- Ability to multi-task with ability to respond and refocus quickly.
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and to stay for more than one day and night in commercial lodging facilities.
