Your Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an analytical individual to join our Insurance Broker Accounts (IBA) team – who work closely with Lockton’s clients and insurance underwriters to carry out the reconciliation and management of client money.
This is an excellent role for someone with an interest in finance and a keen eye for detail to join a dynamic and growing business. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and initiative and will be an excellent communicator who builds positive and successful relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
- Work with the IBA Managers and Senior Managers to support the interface between IBA carrier teams and a portfolio of client facing broking businesses and carriers
- Ensuring carriers receive optimal levels of service
- Act as point of carrier technical escalation within the IBA carrier teams and wider IBA function, constantly work to improve and strengthen relationships and review processes to mutual benefit including instigating key carrier partnership meetings
- Coordinate and support IBA carrier teams and managers with premium query resolution, business and carrier performance review meetings, and tracking actions to timely resolution
- Support both internal and external audit requests within required deadlines
- Responsible for understanding, accepting, and promoting the Lockton culture, remaining consistent with the organisation's philosophies and mission statement
- Comply with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements and escalate issues to senior management
Qualifications
You should have the following experience:
- A finance or IBA background
- Good understanding and experience of insurance broking accounts
- A working knowledge of the computer desktop software provided by Lockton includes Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Brokersure BE/EA, Power BI, Acturis, and A4B.
- Ability to compile, analyse and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making, with excellent attention to detail.
- A good understanding of lean and continuous improvement principles preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing to maintain positive and successful business relationships with Lockton colleagues, our clients, carriers, and other third-party providers representing Lockton in the highest professional manner.
- Good organisational skills, ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A good understanding of the general and legal principles applicable to insurance, in particular FSA client money rules.
