About the Position

Your Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years of general commercial insurance experience
- Experience and/or foundational knowledge of all key lines of coverage
- Understanding of commercial insurance renewal, marketing, and program placement process
- Experience and/or knowledge of Client prospecting and onboarding process (preferred)
- Strong technical aptitude, including expertise in Microsoft Office products/platforms including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of Associates and Clientele
- Effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on accuracy and meeting goal-driven deadlines
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation, and ability to provide impactful solutions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities successfully
- Willingness to learn about Lockton product offerings, identify and introduce market concepts, and effectively communicate insurance program details
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours and travel as needed
- Legally able to work in the United States
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years of commercial property insurance experience – brokerage, underwriting and/or account management
- Demonstrated knowledge of the property insurance marketplace
- Industry related certifications, designations, and licenses (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to successfully present data
- Ability to understand and utilize industry-specific trends and governmental regulations
- Focused on personal and team development with the ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and negotiation skills
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours to effectively service client and/or business needs
- Ability to travel, as needed/requested
- Legally able to work in the United States
