Position Details
The Technical Product Manager (TPM) will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Product Development lifecycle and will work very closely with Product Owners to drive the execution of product vision and strategy. Collaborating closely with system integration partners, engineering, architects, and business stakeholders, they develop and maintain detailed product scope roadmaps, timelines, and project plans. Combining expertise in technology and digital landscape, they drive the execution of technology-driven solutions which enhance customer experience and market competitiveness.
Your Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to build the product. This includes creation of user stories. acceptance criteria, user testing and release timelines
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to launch, managing sprints, backlogs, and releases.
• Manage the relationship with external system integration partners to define, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap.
• Facilitate regular meetings and workshops with development teams to address roadblocks and employ product modules, features and complex functionality.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Gather and analyze user feedback, system performance trends, and data analytics to inform product improvements.
• Ensure the technology stack aligns with enterprise-wide IT strategy and best practices.
• Ensure best-in-class technology principles are applied to product development.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams, including data analysts, developers, and engineers, to drive product success.
• Plan and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders.
• Work closely with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all products meet industry regulations.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user adoption, development timelines, and product quality.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance product performance, user experience, and market positioning.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the product and organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Insurance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the insurance analytics or technology space.
• Problem-solving skills aimed at overcoming roadblocks, developing intuitive solutions to complex problems, and navigating challenging requirements
• Analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud computing, SaaS, software development processes, and data analytics tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, or Aha!.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex products successfully.
• Familiarity with commercial insurance (P&C), underwriting, claims processing, or regulatory compliance.
