Your Responsibilities
A strategic coordinator and master of details. A Specialty Practice Program Manager is the glue that keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring category liaisons can stay focused and are prepared to deliver exceptional vendor consulting. This role leads the planning, coordination, development, and execution of vendor consulting projects, acting as a trusted partner to both internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
ROLE
• Lead the execution of vendor consulting relationships and projects from start to finish by managing timelines, deliverables, and collaboration across stake holders.
• Manage the collection and analysis of vendor data, sales pipeline activity, and industry data to surface insights and opportunities.
• Collaborate and partner with category liaisons on the development of strategic insights and value-add opportunities for vendor partners.
• Create, review, & proofread work products to ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
• Collaborate and partner directly with Lockton communications and DDS, as needed, to ensure internal and external materials are clear, consist, direct and aesthetically appealing.
• Maintain, manage, and organize on a continuous basis up-to-date knowledge of vendor capabilities, programs, and the broader health risk management space.
• Facilitate consulting meetings: confirm attendees, draft and distribute agendas, and capture notes.
• Build and manage calendars and project plans for category liaisons, managing incoming scheduling requests, resolving conflicts, rescheduling as needed, and clearly communicating changes.
• Serve as the main point of contact for select vendor partner needs, manage fielding and fulfilling requests in coordination with liaisons.
• Initiate process improvements, continuously seeking ways to improve how we do what we do, bringing ideas to the table and helping build more repeatable, scalable workflows.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of vendor and specialty practice initiatives.
PLAIN TALK
• You’ll take ownership of vendor consulting relationships and managing projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and collaboration across stakeholders from start to finish.
• You’ll gather and review data from internal sources and external industry resources to identify and make valuable insights and recommendations to support vendor partners.
• You’ll partner and collaborate directly with category liaisons to refine and develop additional insights and recommendations.
• You’ll partner and collaborate across practices to support broader initiatives and ensure materials are both accurate and visually appealing.
• You’ll manage and maintain and remain up to date with vendor partner offerings, industry trends, and rules and regulations.
• You'll organize consulting meetings from start to finish, confirm attendees, prep agendas, take notes, and keep the team on track.
• You’ll manage calendars: scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and keeping everyone aligned.
• You’ll manage and adjust project plans: setting timelines, assigning tasks, and keeping everyone accountable.
• You’ll manage and support category liaison and vendor partner needs, with a focus on responsiveness.
• You’ll deliver on process improvements, identifying ways to improve how we do things, offer suggestions, and help implement smarter workflows.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in Employee Benefits Consulting, preferably with a focus on Population Health.
• Strong understanding of the vendor landscape, compliance considerations, and population health strategies.
• Experience managing and supporting projects from start to finish, especially coordinating cross-functional teams and deliverables.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to respectfully challenge ideas and propose improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex info and craft client-ready materials.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; confident using PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability and willingness to travel for meetings as needed (projected travel <5%).
