About the Position
Lockton is seeking a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of IT operations. The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for the oversight and optimization of our technological infrastructure and services, ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems, and leading a team of IT professionals. This role is multifaceted and critical to maintaining and enhancing the technological capabilities and framework of the organization.

Your Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy and Change Management: Shape the business strategy, requirements, and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversee smooth transitions to modern technologies and processes, preparing the workforce for changes and other future advancements.
- Project and Budget Management: Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver IT projects on time, within budget, and meeting requirements. Manage the IT budget, forecasts costs, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure expenditures stay within the approved budget.
- People Leadership and Development: Ensure employee engagement through effective performance management, fostering a team culture, and providing productive feedback. The ability to balance multiple leadership roles and effectively manage Associate issues through policy enforcement, coaching and training is key to success in this role.
- Infrastructure Management and Cybersecurity: Maintain network and systems infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secure operation. Identify and mitigate security risks, in compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Provide regular hardware/software maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- IT Support and Services: Provide technical support and prompt resolution of issues. Oversee IT service delivery, manage support teams, and facilitate Quarterly Service Reviews. Organize training sessions to keep staff updated on new technologies and best practices.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships with a focus on quality products and services. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on IT operations, projects, and issues.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay educated and updated on technology advancements, assess their benefits, and conduct frequent office health checks. Proactively seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Prior leadership experience in IT management and operational teams
- Strong understanding of IT systems, network infrastructure, and security protocols
- Technical proficiency in network and systems administration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Familiarity with compliance standards and risk management practices
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work in-office 4-5 days a week
